Cneifio Corwen Shears was first established in 1989, and is one of the most successful sheep shearing competitions throughout the United Kingdom. Sheep shearers and Wool handlers travel from all over the World to compete at the show.

Along with our competitors, we must thank our sponsors both large and small, without them we would have great difficulty in maintaining our show and competitions to the standard we have achieved to date. The Cneifio Corwen Shears logo has become an internationally recognised logo which symbolises both quality and excellence in the skillful art of shearing and wool handling.

We are pleased to hold the second round of the Celtic Shield, hte first round having been held at the Lochearnhead Shears in Scotland. On the Saturday night, we have a Bar and Disco and our Wales v New Zealand test and an International Team Relay are both great entertainment full of roaring spectators.

Not only do we have machine shearing to entertain you, we have a very successful blade shearing competition and wool-handling with competitors coming from far and wide.
